This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first-grade teacher, I am committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and collaborative classroom experience for my students. One key element in achieving this is a classroom rug, where our young learners can gather, share ideas, and collaborate comfortably. However, due to new safety regulations, we need to replace our current rug with a flame-retardant one to ensure we meet safety standards.
This rug is more than just a piece of furniture – it’s a vital space for group activities, reading sessions, and teamwork.
It helps create a cozy, inviting atmosphere that encourages learning and collaboration among my students. Your generous donation will help us provide a safe and comfortable space where our first grade class can grow, learn, and thrive together.
