This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are super excited and eager to read. They love visiting our classroom library daily. It is for this reason that I would like to create a more welcoming and colorful space in our library. To make this possible, I need a small, colorful, round carpet that would bring excitement, comfort, and, most importantly, learning. I would love to see my students expand their oral and communication skills while acquiring a bigger love for reading. In addition to the carpet we are also in need of a kid's rocking chair and cushion to sit and enjoy their favorite book.
