it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love teaching my third-grade students at a Title I public school. They are hardworking, resilient, and eager to learn, despite facing numerous challenges outside the classroom. Many of their parents work multiple jobs, which makes it harder for families to provide their children with essential learning tools. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where every student has the necessary resources to succeed academically and feels comfortable while learning.
The durable 24-pack of headphones will make a big difference by allowing students to fully participate in online supplemental activities and state testing without distraction.
The couple of headphones I do have break easily, so these strong, high-quality headphones will help students stay focused and engaged. The snacks will provide the necessary nutrition to maintain energy and concentration throughout the day. The round floor pillows will provide flexible and comfortable seating options in the library and classroom, helping students feel more at ease during group work and reading time. Disinfecting wipes will keep our classroom clean and safe, promoting a healthy learning environment for all.
Together, these resources will empower my students by meeting their academic, physical, and emotional needs. My goal is to support focused learning, enhance access to technology, and create a flexible and welcoming space where every child can thrive.
