My Project

As a school counselor, my goal is to create a space where every student feels safe, supported, and welcome. Many of the students I work with need a calm and inviting environment to talk, reflect, and learn healthy ways to cope with big emotions.

As a new school counselor for K-6, I am hoping to add items to my counseling room that will help students feel comfortable and engaged—things like a soft rug to create a cozy space, fidgets to support focus and self-regulation.

Also sensory tools like playdough and a sand tray to help students express themselves in creative and calming ways.

These resources will make a meaningful difference in the lives of my students. Thank you for helping me build a space where they can grow, feel heard, and know they belong.
