Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, meeting basic needs is just as important as academic success. This project will provide drinks to keep students hydrated, a microwave so they can enjoy warm meals, and a bookcase to keep our learning space organized and full of accessible books. These simple items will help create a comfortable, welcoming environment where students can focus, feel cared for, and thrive.
When students are well-fed, hydrated, and surrounded by books, they’re more motivated, engaged, and ready to learn.
A warm meal can brighten a tough day, and an organized, book-filled space invites curiosity and calm. With your support, I can help meet their physical and emotional needs—building a stronger foundation for academic growth, confidence, and a love of learning.
