My Project
I am excited to start this project to stock a special cart in my middle school art classroom with essential hygiene items and motivational rewards. By providing necessities like deodorant alongside fun rewards and snacks, your donation will directly empower my students to feel more comfortable and confident, enabling them to focus on learning.
Having access to hygiene supplies means these middle schoolers can participate actively without feeling embarrassed or self-conscious about changes out of their control during this transitional time of life.
Rewards like art supplies and fidget toys give them something positive to strive for. With basic needs met and spirits lifted, their intellectual gifts and leadership potential can shine through.
My goal is for the Care Cart to create an equitable classroom community where no student feels left out or limited by their circumstances. I want it to put all my kids on equal footing, ready to collaborate in teams, speak up in class discussions, and achieve their academic goals.
These students inspire me with their resilience, unique perspectives, and care for one another. Many face challenges with homelessness, poverty, and learning differences. Yet they arrive eager to question, create, and grow every day. Their spirit motivates me to do everything I can to clear away barriers dampening their light. Please help fuel our cart to empower these exceptional students!
