This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, caring, and full of energy. They learn in a self-contained classroom where we focus on meeting each student’s individual needs, both academically and emotionally. What makes them special is their ability to keep trying, even when learning feels hard. They thrive when they feel safe, comfortable, and supported.

This project will help us create a cozy, organized classroom that sets them up for success.

The rug and pillows will give students a calm space to take breaks, read, or work quietly. The chairs will give them comfortable seating for small group lessons or independent work. Folders and pencils will help them stay organized and ready to learn each day. My goal is to create a learning space where students feel comfortable, focused, and proud of their progress.
