Comfort and Focus: Flexible Seating for Growing Minds

Help me give my students a new classroom rug and flexible seating to create a more comfortable, engaging, and inclusive space where they can learn and grow together.

My Project

In our second-grade classroom, learning is active, collaborative, and full of movement. My students thrive when they have the freedom to engage in different ways whether it's sitting in a circle for a read-aloud, working in small groups, or finding a cozy spot to dive into a book. Unfortunately, our current carpet is worn and uncomfortable, and we lack enough flexible seating options to meet everyone's needs. A new classroom carpet and a set of sturdy stools will help create a more welcoming, organized, and student-centered space where learning feels both safe and exciting.

Flexible seating and a comfortable carpet will transform how many students learn.

These tools will support focus, encourage teamwork, and give students the choice to work where they learn best. Whether they're solving math problems on a stool or listening to a story from the carpet, this environment will help them feel more engaged and valued. The goal of this project if to foster a classroom where every child feels comfortable, supported, and eager to participate every day.

My students are curious, kind, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives, energy, and heart to our classroom. They deserve a learning environment that reflects their worth and a space that is not only functional, but joyful. With your support, we can make that vision a reality.
