This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are the most creative, vivacious group of young people that I have had the pleasure of teaching. This project will ensure that they deserve to have access to basic needs such as clean and healthy water, that support their social, emotional, and mental health. While the world has forced them to return to "normal" since the Covid years, many students have continued to request items that help with sustaining their health and wellness, such as a class water cooler and a compact class refrigerator. Content cannot be absorbed if students' mental health is not at its optimum.
