Help me give my students a cozy rug and flexible chairs to create a comfortable learning space, along with whiteboards, pencils, caddies, and seat sacks to keep them organized and ready to learn.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, kind, and full of energy second grade students are. They come to school each day eager to learn, explore, and grow. They thrive when they feel safe, comfortable, and supported.
A rug will give us a cozy space to gather for group lessons and class discussions, helping build a stronger sense of community.
Flexible chairs will allow students to move comfortably and choose seating that helps them focus during independent reading. Whiteboards give them a fun, hands-on way to practice writing, math, and spelling during lessons. Pencils and caddies ensure they always have the basic tools they need right at their fingertips. And seat sacks will give them a personal space to keep their supplies organized, reducing distractions and lost materials.
These resources may seem small, but together they’ll make a big difference in creating a classroom where every student can feel at home and ready to learn.
