My Students

My students are very unique and special because they come to school each day very eager and excited to learn. Covid-19 has impacted my students' reading scores severely and we are working very hard to get them to grade-level reading.

My Project

My students will become great readers with your help of getting us books and the comfortable seating along with it! My students will be able to focus more on the wobble seats, cushion seats, and fidget kick bands. The leveled books will assist in differentiation to cater to each individual student at their own reading level. The whiteboard will be used to help students learn and practice their writing skills at the reading table! I have noticed that each student is able to focus better when they have the opportunity to use flexible seating because they have that opportunity to get their wiggles out and we can do fewer brain breaks throughout our day! I have seen how all of this will positively affect my students' work and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
