This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A lot of my students live in one-income households and struggle financially to meet basic needs. They come to school hungry, and often the food they eat at school is their only daily meal. The chips and crackers will be used as a positive reinforcement during classroom instruction and to eliminate hunger.
The chips and crackers will enhance student attendance, increase student participation in classroom activities, reduce student problem behaviors that interrupt the learning, and boost my students' confidence and self-esteem.
