This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to school every day ready to learn, despite all their adversities. My classroom consists of students with disabilities such as Autism and Emotional Disturbance, English Language Learners, and several who are currently in homeless shelters in the Bronx. By providing them with notebooks, highlighters, folders, and toner, they will come to school each day feeling confident and well equipt to learn. With these school supplies, my students will be able to show their creativity, innovative skills, and knowledge of different subjects that are being taught in the classroom. Please help me provide them with the necessary tools to thrive inside and outside the classroom!
