We are an after school club which works to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and provide menstrual hygiene products to menstruators in need! Over the past several years, our empathetic students have been personally purchasing menstrual supplies for their community members. With your help, we can expand our reach!
Help us combat period poverty by creating period packages that will be donated to students, homeless shelters, and community centers!
We are excited to launch a new initiative in which we allow students to anonymously request packages of menstrual supplies before breaks in instruction. This ensures that students are never without access to these crucial supplies.
At our Period Packing Parties, we spend several hours after school packaging menstrual supplies into brown paper bags. Each paper bag is filled with enough pads, liners, and tampons to last one menstrual cycle. Students write personal notes of encouragement for each package. We staple the bags and organize them into cardboard boxes for distribution. We have been able to create over 100 packages at each event so far! With your help, we can continue to work on reducing period poverty rates in our community and make a meaningful impact!
