Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at MES are enthusiastic, innovative, smart and kind, each day students wake up early and show up to our school ready to be social, respectful and intentional in learning. However each year students go through unexpected hardships such a tragic fires, financial instability, health issues and family troubles. These issues can happen to any family or student and can effect a students ability to learn and thrive in our amazing school environment.

I am asking that you donate towards a closet that provides students with hygienic products as well as new clothes, coats and shoes.

It is necessary for us to provide all supports to reach the whole child as a student. This closet will serve as way to reach students and provide a safe place to support them with basic necessities they may be in need of.
