This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a diverse and creative group of students who are always excited to express themselves through art. Many come from immigrant families and don’t always have access to quality art materials at home, so the classroom becomes a safe space where they can explore, imagine, and create freely.

These resources—like clay, paint, cardstock, and other basic supplies—will allow them to experience different techniques, build fine motor skills, and bring their ideas to life.

Whether we’re sculpting with air-dry clay or painting colorful scenes inspired by artists around the world, every material will support their growth, confidence, and joy in learning.
