Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are english language learners 9th graders and 10th graders. Some of my students are assimilating to a new city and a new country. They come from different origins Cape Verde, Somali, Dominican Republic., Haiti.
My students are diverse some are new comers to Boston others may have lived here for longer.
They need your help to get started with a successful and productive school year.
My Project
Being able to color graphs and charts in mathematics makes learning more visually appealing for students. It will help them distinguish one graph and line from the other as they color code their work. It will also make their work more fun and enjoyable for students when they have the tools that they need to make their work more visually appealing.
Students will be asked to make symbols and use their color pencils to work on class projects that ask them to create graphs and charts, data, and tables in order to make decisions .
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
