it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you ever remember being able to go to the library to relax, read and just get away? This is how I want my students to continue feeling during this pandemic. I want them to continue coming into the library to read and feel safe. I have over 480 students who walk through my library doors and it is my job to keep them safe while having fun.
My Project
I have over 480 students who walk into our elementary library on a weekly basis! It is my responsibility to keep them safe while learning and having fun. I do not have the means to continue keeping my students safe. I have taught my students how to walk into the library and sanitize. They know how important it is to sanitize, distance themselves and keep masks on. Due to the pandemic, I have had our littles create ziplock baggies with their own crayons to color. This is safe and helps me be at ease while they are enjoying themselves in the library. Please help me continue to keep our students safe. These items will help our students continue to have a successful school year.
