This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In a school with more than 50% English Language Learners, having clear and colorful pictures to help teach vocabulary is so important! These scaffolds are tools that our students rely on to help them communicate with us and learn English.
Having a working color printer to assist in creating clear and realistic picture dictionaries and other scaffolds for our students will be a game changer.
With a color printer, I can create a multitude of scaffolds and games to help my lessons be more engaging and fun.
Our students come from all over the world and speak many different languages, all trying to learn English. With the right tools and scaffolds, I can help them achieve proficiency as well as boost social skills and confidence.
