My Project
I teach special education students in a community of lower socioeconomic status. Technology supplies are often limited and not provided to teachers. These supplies, which include printing paper, ink, toner, and even printers, are expensive, and we, as teachers, have to pay for them out of our own pockets. Since the COVID pandemic, technology has become an increasingly integral part of the curriculum and student learning. As a result, teachers and students are more and more reliant on printing and copiers than ever.
Colors are an important way that students express themselves.
They enjoy being able to use them in their learning. My students are lucky that I have a color laser printer that allows them to use color in technology. Since technology supplies are limited around the school and there are a large number of students and teachers that rely on it, having additional supplies for my own class would be greatly helpful. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated.
