My Project
I am a Kindergarten teacher. Teaching in rural Alaska is challenging especially since our kids have limited exposure to different kinds of animals, plants, and all other kinds of stuff related to our lessons. Although I can show them colorful pictures and videos online, internet connection can sometimes be another problem because we don't have a good signal here in bush Alaska.
We all know that colors always matter; colorful pictures for my students here in rural Alaska will always be a great motivational material for them since they have limited exposure to the outside community.
I want to give my students the best learning experience they can get. I believe that providing colorful pictures to them will help them stay engaged and develop their creative thinking at a very young age. And I also want them to experience learning as if we're having field trips with the use of colorful pictures around the classroom.
