Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a class of 17 energetic and curious first graders who are eager to learn, explore, and express themselves every day. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and each one brings a unique spark to our classroom. To help them thrive, we need a learning environment that supports their creativity, comfort, and focus.
With your help, I can provide flexible seating options, like these wobble stools, cushions, and chair bands, that allow students to move and settle in ways that help them learn best.
We also need colorful markers and supplies to bring their ideas to life during writing, art, and hands-on activities. These resources will help transform our classroom into a space where every child can feel comfortable, engaged, and confident.
