The use of color in our classroom makes the learning environment feel like a second home. With all of the time spent at school, I like to make my students feel comfortable. As screen time increases at home/school, I would like to do my part in decreasing the amount of time they spend at school. I plan on making adaptive books, task boxes, and signs, and even printing out pictures of my students to hang around our classroom.
Access to a color printer will help engage my students without the use of technology.
Most of the students have plenty of screen time at home and I would like to limit it at school as much as possible. Giving them physical things to touch that have color would help them to engage in lessons and individual tasks off-screen.
