My Project

There are so many benefits to having rugs in classroom centers. In my classroom there are 7 centers and the rugs provide a boundary for the area to play. They add warmth and comfort to that area, and provide safety, providing resistance to students and the floor.

Carpet or rugs produce a comfortable place for teachers and young students to expand their learning space onto the floor.

New rugs would also reduce the noise in the classroom. Centers such as cars, blocks, house, books could all use a soft carpet to play on.
