Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will use colorful paper and lined cards while engaging in academic inquiry and recording their responses. Students will be given the opportunity to work in small groups and read exciting new texts. Students will respond to questions on colorful paper and generate Exit Tickets on colorful post it notes. Exit Tickets will be displayed on varying anchor charts and vinyl and will be shared with the class during classroom instruction. The colorful post it notes and cards will emulate a polka dot effect and add to the dynamics of the classroom's aesthetic.
