This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
77% of students say color helps them remember what they read more easily.
My students come from a high-poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures: nuclear, single parent, foster and migrant, to name a few.
My students love to be at school and enjoy learning, especially when the activities are hands-on. Many of my students are English Language Learners that attend a public school in the Los Angeles area. They are always excited to experience any kind of technology that I'm able to bring to my class.
My Project
I have a color printer in the classroom but it ran out of ink. Last year I spent over two hundred dollars buying ink at the store. It has been very difficult to replace the ink every time. I need the ink and the copy paper for my printer. By printing in color it helps for students to focus on what information is important. Students tend to remember key facts and information. They are more interested in their work. They will use the ink to print colorful presentations and to display them during Open House. I will use the paper for my students, so they can print our their projects.
I need the ink and paper to print their projects in color.
Please help us out so my students can enjoy and display wonderful projects. They will feel proud with the product that they will display.
