My Project
I love my students and their enthusiasm for learning. Every child in my class is eager to learn and works hard to grow and meet new goals. My students have HUGE hearts and each day is a beautiful, learning adventure in our classroom.
In reading, my students have been building their stamina and moving up in levels all year long!
We have a small classroom library but it is still not enough to sustain my book loving class. Students are reading at a variety of reading levels and I would like to download decodable books created by fellow teachers from Teachers Pay Teachers and print them out in both black and white as well as color for my students.
These books would support students in becoming more fluent and automatic in using phonics strategies to help them figure out unknown words. Allowing for color printing will also make the books more engaging! The ink and gift card would also allow me to download and print other vivid charts, visual aids, and tools that will support and enhance daily learning.
