My Project

How will the specific items you’re requesting make a difference in their learning?

The Cricut machine, student aprons, and easers will provide hands-on learning opportunities that encourage creativity and help students take ownership of their art projects.

The Cricut allows for precise and professional-level designs, making it easier for students to experiment with various materials and create intricate projects. The aprons will protect students' clothing while giving them a sense of professionalism and focus, and the easers will provide the tools needed to clean up and refine their work, promoting independence and responsibility in the creative process. Students will use acrylic paint to experiment with color blending, texture, and different painting techniques. They will apply it to various surfaces such as canvas, paper, and wood, allowing them to explore their creativity and develop their fine motor skills. Through guided projects and independent exploration, students will learn how to mix colors, create layers, and use brushes and other tools to enhance their artwork.

What are your goals for this project?

My goal is to empower my students to explore their artistic potential through innovative and practical tools. I want them to develop confidence in their abilities, learn new techniques, and experience the satisfaction of creating personalized, detailed art projects. This project aims to foster self-expression, enhance fine motor skills, and build an appreciation for the creative process.

What makes your students special?

My students are incredibly imaginative, eager to experiment, and passionate about expressing themselves through art. They each bring their unique perspectives and ideas to the table, making the classroom a vibrant and dynamic space for creativity. These tools will help harness their strengths and inspire them to take their artistic talents to the next level, allowing them to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways.
