Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergartners are the most amazing 5/6 year old superheroes that you will ever meet! They come to school ready to learn and know that our classroom is a safe place for them. They have a lot of energy! I am requesting some flexible seating that will give them the chance to get those wiggles out.
I am requesting some flexible furniture for my class, cozy stools to help them relax while reading.
Kindergartners were not meant to sit all day, our curriculum is so much more academic, and they are expected to sit for longer periods of time. Flexible seating will help by giving them alternative options than just a desk and chair. I believe this will help them not just academically, but also with their social emotional health as well. Thank your for considering our project!
