Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Because I teach all newcomer High Schoolers who are learning English, we use a lot of images.
Unfortunately, most of those images have to be in black and white because I do not have access to a color printer at my school.
This means that students have to look at copied images that are lacking in detail and pizazz.
A color printer would change the way they see English. They would be able to see the details and variations. They would be able to enjoy the color of life as they write.
