My Project

Being a Title I school means we serve a large number of students from economically disadvantaged families. Art education can contribute to improved focus, discipline, and motivation, factors that are especially beneficial in Title I schools where educational challenges may be more pronounced.

Oil pastels are important in teaching elementary kids art because they are accessible.

versatile, and encourage creativity while minimizing the challenges associated with more complex art mediums. Oil pastels offer a wide range of vibrant colors, captivating the attention of young artists. Their smooth and blendable texture allows children to easily mix and layer colors, fostering a sense of experimentation and creativity.

The ease of use and the vibrant nature of oil pastels encourage children to express their creativity freely. This freedom of expression is crucial in fostering a positive attitude towards art and nurturing each child's unique artistic voice.

Oil pastels are consumed quickly and often need replaced throughout the school year. The use of oil pastels provides a mostly mess free, a quick form of feedback to the students and a fun way for the students to create landscapes, still lifes and morel
