This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic but often lack the motivation to work on their classwork. They also need support with English speaking and listening. Most are English learners and are struggling in their English Language Arts class.

My students come from a diverse school in a large city.

Part of the school is a magnet with students from all over the city. My students are comprised mainly of residential students from the local low-income neighborhood. Most are English learners, as well.

My Project

The cords and wires in the classroom are unruly, so we need straps and bags to organize and store the stuff and the cables that go with them. We use many electronics, charges, and Chromebook in the classroom throughout the day and they all have cables and wires.

Also, the classroom bulletin board needs colorful backgrounds, vivid borders, and fun decorations to brighten up the room.

This is the area of the classroom that receives the most attention. Help us make an interesting and student-friendly bulletin board for our classroom.
