My Students
The students in my 7th grade ELA classroom are bright and eager to learn. They love to use resources to guide them through lessons, such as sticky notes, anchor charts, highlighters, etc. They use their tools to support each other in reading and writing workshop.
My Project
Anchor charts are an important classroom resource. They anchor the concepts of a mini lesson to and allow students and teachers to refer back to the strategies to help students master skills. Anchor charts also serve as a tool for students to collaborate on projects and share their ideas with their classmates and students. This project asks for anchor charts, sharpies, highlighters, and crayons to support learning in my middle school classroom. They sharpies, highlighters, and crayons will allow for us to make colorful, inviting, and creative charts to share and practice our reading and writing skills.
