This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach students with multiple disabilities and our curriculum materials have a lot of colored pictures that when printed in black and white makes them dull and uninviting, but when printed in color help motivate the students and keep them engaged in learning. I have noticed over the years that my students are more interested when the printed materials have colored pictures which make them look the same as they are online. Students are able to compare the pictures with increased accuracy than when they are printed on black and white.
