This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Colored copy paper allows me to provide students easy accessibility to the most important documents in their binders they will need to refer to per unit - for example character maps, SAID synonym lists, essay structure references, etc. The paper will be color coded per item so I can reference such when students are looking for items. If students are color blind, a symbol (like a star, heart, square) will be on the top right corner for students to refer to as well.
Throughout the year, students will be able to spot the documents in their binders that they will need to look at and utilize for upcoming assignments.
These handouts will be used on a weekly basis as students will not only take notes on the handouts but will also use the handouts to assist them in skill set development like writing strong paragraphs and understanding character relationships.
Colored copy paper is not provided to teachers on our campus, so your generosity would help me provide my students basic organization.
