My Project

Kindergarteners love to create art! They love to work with different tools and supplies. I am requesting Scentos markers for my students. Kindergarteners love these art supplies because they are bold, different, and easy to use. This is wonderful for five-year-olds. I wish you could see the joy on my student's faces as they work on an art project. They proudly show their creations to me and their classmates. We will be using these materials for all subject areas, especially for our 100th day of school, Lunar New Year, and Valentine's Day thematic units. I am also requesting gold coins to give to my students on Lunar New Year.

Exploring, discovering, and experimenting through art has great value in education.

Art experiences lead to gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. I also find that my students are motivated and highly engaged when they are creating art in my classroom. I feel that art is the perfect way to engage 100% of my students. I am also requesting a book from our favorite author and Squishmallows for PBIS. Thank you for supporting my students!
