This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 20 hard working, amazing first grade students in a low income, small East Texas town. They love to work with hands-on activities, make creative art projects, play games, and learn through technology. My students do not respond as positively to worksheets or seat work activities as they do to physically manipulating skills with manipulatives or using a device.

I strive to make my classroom a fun and exciting, but also engaging learning environment for all of my students.

My Project

With the ink provided to our classroom, my students will be able to print different projects throughout the school year in both color and black and white. I will also be able to print the resources I need to make learning stations and help the students become more successful. Our Ipads will also be so much more safe with each one having a protective case on it!

With your donation, our classroom would be a much more colorful, happy place to be!

We will have enough ink to color our world, and our technology devices would all have a protective case to make sure it withstands everyday stations with 6 year olds!
