I work with an incredible group of diverse pre-kindergarten students. Most of the families are low-income families and educational materials are very hard to come by.
I really enjoy working with early childhood grades because they set the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
There are so many different cultures and personalities, but the one thing that my students all have in common is that they all love to learn and work together as a classroom community. They each have a lot to offer and share.
My Project
I would love to have enough art materials and supplies for all students to explore their creativity. Students love to express themselves creatively and these materials will help them do exactly that. This variety of materials would be very helpful in aiding students as they explore the arts and their imaginations. Sharing their masterpieces also helps them with social interactions and improves their self-confidence, We want our students to realize the full possibilities of artistic expression. They feel a sense of ownership when they have a variety of materials to choose from and can explore without limitation. Thank you for helping us reach this goal and for coloring our world!
