Help me give my students the supplies they need to do STEM projects in color in their notebook, tape to attach pages in their notebooks, and a broom to clean up their messes.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Sixth Graders! My students are wonderful, witty, and wise eleven and twelve year old learners. They attend a small, Title I elementary school in Nevada that was built in the 1950's. We serve breakfast and lunch to all students and many stay to eat dinner after school. Quite a few of my students take care of younger siblings and share in the chores at home while their parents are working. A high percentage of my students are bilingual, English Language Learners (ESL). They are learning required grade level material every day, with the added roadblock of a language barrier.
My students are as capable as all other students in the nation, and I just want to give them the same opportunities.
One of the truly nice things about my school is that it really is a neighborhood school. It is relatively small compared to other schools in the district, and most of the students that attend have many other family members here. All of our students live within walking distance and it is a real community. I believe that all of my students have the ability to do anything they set their minds to.
My Project
These materials will be used to replenish supplies for my STEM classroom. We have bins that will hold all the materials we use on a daily basis, but we often run out. We do a lot of modeling of investigations in our STEM notebooks that involve accurately coloring in diagrams and taping pages into our notebooks.
Having the materials we need makes for a more productive class, especially when we don't need to waste time looking for supplies.
After STEM class is finished for the day, the room is often quite messy. This broom will go with our dustpan and allow the students to clean up after themselves without relying on the custodian to do so.
