This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students with special needs and learning disabilities benefit from colorful visuals to better capture their attention in the classroom and it helps to deliver an engaging learning experience. Research has shown that color printed materials increases memory retention better than verbal or textual cues alone. Students better understand new ideas and concepts when presented in a color format.
Color printed improves the educational experience for all students and it can be transformational for students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
I'm always trying to find ways to facilitate creative thinking in my young students. Please help me obtain a color printer to help my ESE students to develop their maximum potential in Pre-K.
