This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hard-working and devoted to presenting their best work. Nothing breaks my heart more than when I see students stressing over not having access to a working printer or copier when their assignment is expected in 45min. Our school does not have classroom printers or full-time office staff for the students to have a central place to go for these needs.
As their teacher, I had invested in my classroom printer but unfortunately, it was unable to keep up with the needs of my students or myself.
There are many times the one copier in the teacher's lounge is out of order or at best creates lines in the copies that I make because it requires maintenance.
This printer will allow me to provide my students a place to go to print their essays, projects, newsletters, etc. but also allow me access to copy and distribute hands outs, notes, and documents that we utilize in our Global and U.S History classes on a daily basis without skipping a beat.
