it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm requesting a color printer and toner to help my language learners better visualize and learn the subjects of study. Language learners are so eager to learn a new language. They come from different parts of the world and settle here to learn and grow. Giving them colored pictures will enable them to access their background knowledge and transfer their knowledge from their first language to the new language (English). When I give them black and white pictures they struggle in identifying the objects in the pictures which leads to a lot of confusion. Therefore, giving them colored pictures will eliminate the confusion and increase their abilities to learn and succeed.
