This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are a school family! My motto is teamwork makes the dreamwork. We laugh together and learn together. Each morning we greet each other, students are able to share, and we do an activity to get us up and moving to start our day. A typical day in our classroom is engaging and fun!
I have a very academically diverse group of students.
Gifted students and students with learning disabilities combined make up more than half of my students each school year. Everyone is accepted, and we work together as a learning community.
My Project
Help me give my students color and black ink cartridges for visual representations and colorful anchor charts. Visuals are so very important for young learners.
Colorful photos and anchor charts help students make connections with newly introduced concepts.
Our reading curriculum, which integrates science and social studies, requires us to print many different materials for each lesson. I print texts for the students to annotate, make colorful posters, and use photographs for visuals to assist the students in their daily learning. Some activities require each student to have copies of certain photographs for the lesson.
Helping my students have the best possible learning experience is my goal! Adequate ink will help me reach this goal!
