This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have very special, very needy students in my 12:1:1 class. We are a Title I funded school. The disabilities affecting my students range from speech and language to the autism spectrum. The students' languages consist of mostly Spanish and English.

My students are eager and enthusiastic about learning, although they lack supplies and materials.

My students enjoy interacive lessons and reading by themselves or with a partner. They enjoy engaging lessons and the use of technology in the classroom causes excitement and eagerness to learn.

My Project

My students need a great learning environment and access to engaging colorful materials. A Brother color printer will make our world bright and engaging! Having access to color materials will make a huge difference in student learning as well as being able to make copies quickly.

Our current printer broke and as of now we have no color in our world.

Also without a copier it makes it make last minute copies. With a color printer we can achieve more engaging lessons and make our everyday lives a little easier. There are many things that are printed in the classroom that would look better if they were printed in color.
