This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second grade students are amazing learners that are full of imagination, laughter, and excitement. Their dynamic personalities and learning needs make teaching fun, unpredictable, and engaging. These tech savvy learners keep me on my toes by requiring the best of me! I love it.
My Project
My 2nd graders are students whom are born into the age of technology. Their little brains are filled with wonder. They have been using many interactive platforms to keep up with technology include learning that is focused on phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, math, science, social studies, health, art, music, and much more .
It is very important that they master the fundamentals of reading fluency and comprehension.
These students come from struggling families and I try my best not let the struggles affect their daily learning that occurs in the classroom.
