Help me give my students a color printer for visuals in the classroom and a rug for our library and small group instruction.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Licata's classroom raised $501

My Students
Our classroom is an ICT (integrated co-teaching) setting which means we are a mixed General Education and Special Education classroom, made up of a culturally diverse population in a Title I school in Brooklyn. Our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and receive free breakfast/lunch daily.
Our ICT classroom is made up of some of the most hardworking students, who strive to be the best they can be.
In our classroom, we have of MLL (Multi Language Learners), who benefit greatly from the use of pictures to help them understand vocabulary, concepts, and strategies during their daily routines and lessons. We also do a lot of small group instruction in our classroom and hold groups at tables as well as on the floor. Our students strive every day to be the best they can be and are very eager to learn new things!
My Project
The materials asked for will benefit our students and classroom greatly. We are in need of a color printer to help give our students vibrant visuals for their every day learning. We have labels for everything in the classroom and use visuals during our lessons on anchor charts. We are also asking for a rug for the back of our classroom where our whiteboard and library is. We use this part of the room for small group instruction and also center time for the students where they use the board to work on word work and also use the library area for independent reading.
Our students are so important to us and we want to provide them with as much support as we possibly can.
It would be amazing if we could get those visuals in color so our learners can grasp a full understanding of what they are learning. We provide our students with individual charts, bookmarks, and manipulatives for both Math and Reading. The rug would be a great addition to our library and small group instruction in the back so students have somewhat of a cushion to sit on rather than the floor.
