This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help my students by giving them the opportunity to print and scan various work and activities.
As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I know that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Despite the many challenges faced by the district due to budget cuts, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences that will wake their natural abilities to explore and create in the real world. The ability to make choices in class helps students develop ownership of their learning. They are motivated students with daily learning goals.
My students are creative, unique and special in their own ways. They like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention. Each student absolutely loves learning, but the method and environment in which they best learn vary.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies to ensure that each student's needs are met.
These students will be an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to be able to work with them for this school year.
My Project
This printer will allow my students to print or scan their work as well as see materials in color. My students love to see their work in color, especially when learning new lessons, but they are unable to see color in lessons because we have a really old printer that is not compatible with the new technology, and it can only print in black and white. This wireless all-in-one Epson printer will help empower my students by allowing them to display their written projects around the classroom in full color. This will provide them with a sense of ownership in the classroom. Having a modern printer will ensure that my students have the resources they need for classwork and for homework.
My students will be able to print assignments in my room if their printer at home doesn't work, or if they don't have enough resources to even have a computer or printer at home.
Having a printer in my room will give all my students access and the opportunity to do well on their projects
