Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy demonstrating how much they have learned by creating projects, presentations, and assignments that engage them in using their creativity. Throughout the year, students have several opportunities to work individually or in groups to complete tasks that include images, graphs, and data where they interpret the mathematics they are learning.
Adding color to their work not only facilitates comparison but also provides my students with the opportunity to be creative.
My students take great pride in all the work they do, and a color printer will allow them to display their work and add emphasis to the ideas that they will compare and contrast throughout the year.
