My students need extra crayons throughout the year and often don't have what they need. We need a microscope that the students can use.

My Students
Help! We love to be creative so we use our crayons fast. When it comes to needing specific crayons later in the year we often don't have them. We love to explore our world and ask why and how. The digital microscope would be awesome!
We have a lot of school pride!
We have about 140 student pre-kindergarten thru 12th grade and are classified as a low-income school. Our school is in a located in a rural farming community. Our student are excited and enthusiastic to learn. Our school has a teacher-student ratio of 1:10.
My Project
The crayons will be so helpful in that when certain colors are needed later on during the year and students cannot find them they will be able to use the exact color needed instead of a different shade. The microscope will inspire a love of exploration, inquisitiveness and answer questions. Kindergarten students love to explore and ask lots of questions. This will help us tremendously with our science.
My student are low-income and our school is budget cutting across the board.
Our science curriculum is at least 15-20 years old so, I try to create my own with as much as I can. The microscope would be huge for us! The crayons will also help in that I will not have to collect them from restaurants or purchase them myself for my classroom.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
