Color Me Math!

Help me give my students an opportunity to record their thinking in math with felt tip pens and Crayola Erasable Twistable Colored Pencils.

My Project

This year I started color coding math. It made a huge difference as students marked certain things in math with different colors and different shapes in order to strengthen their understanding. For example we color coded the "size" in a problem with a green underline and a red rectangle around the total. We used colored pencils to record the math. These twistable colored pencils will allow them to be able to continue recording different parts of the math concepts with different colors but these twistables will allow make things so much easier as we won't have to deal with sharpening them.
